Featured product: Portable dams
------------------------------------------------------

There can't be a person alive in Iowa or Nebraska who hasn't in some way
been affected by flooding this year. We've seen a combination of
conventional river flooding and flash floods, and responsible emergency
responders and city managers are taking steps to ensure that future
flooding won't be as severe.

Floodwaters can rise in severity with little warning, and it's not
always possible to deploy sandbags or build earthen dams everywhere
they're needed on short notice. We can help communities with the Aqua
Dam from Layfield, which can act as a portable dam for emergency use.
The Aqua Dam is quite literally a dam held up by the force of the water
inside it, so it's fast and easy to deploy, requiring only a fraction of
the manpower of a comparable sandbag-based levee.

Even better, an Aqua Dam is easy to take down after the floodwaters
recede, and doesn't carry the significant health risks that old sandbags
often do.
