QCrypt 2022 - Registration Open and Various Updates

Dear QCrypt friends,

Registration for QCrypt 2022 is now open at
https://2022.qcrypt.net/registration/  Below please check the updated
information about QCrypt 2022.

Conference format: QCrypt 2022 will be a hybrid conference to ensure
participation is possible for everyone. Unfortunately, the border control
and quarantine rules for COVID remain in Taiwan (see
https://2022.qcrypt.net/travel/ for COVID-related information), so we
expect that a majority of participants will attend QCrypt online. To cater
to the quarantine rule:

   -

   The first three days will feature only online events: All talks will be
   given by online speakers, and there will be two online poster sessions.
   -

   The last two days will be hybrid: There will be both online and
   in-person talks (both can be attended online), an on-site poster session
   (for in-person participation only), and potentially a banquet dinner,
   provided that the quarantine rule permits.
   -

   Physical venue: Throughout the conference (including the first three
   days), in-person participants (who are not in quarantine) can attend the
   conference physically at Academia Sinica. The venue will serve coffee
   and lunch, just like an ordinary conference. We will broadcast online
   talks in a lecture hall where in-person participants can ask questions to
   online speakers.

Thus, if you plan to attend QCrypt in person, you may consider arriving in
Taiwan three days earlier to participate on-site the whole conference or
arriving in Taiwan on Sunday and attending the first three days of the
conference online in a quarantine hotel.

Attend QCrypt in person: Due to border control, VISA is required for every
non-citizen to enter Taiwan, which may take 1 to 2.5 weeks to apply
depending on the Taiwan consulates near your location (see
https://2022.qcrypt.net/travel/ for VISA application information).
Therefore, if you consider attending QCrypt in person, we suggest you start
planning for the trip soon and contact us by email (2022 at qcrypt.net) when
you have questions. We are happy to help you when needed.

Online Participation: If you plan to attend QCrypt online, please remember
to register. A few days before the conference begins, all registered
participants will receive detailed instructions on how to attend the
conference online.

https://2022.qcrypt.net/accepted-papers/ for information about speakers,
accepted talks, and posters for this edition of QCrypt. The detailed
program will be posted on the website as soon as it's ready.
