[geeklog-translations] French, anyone?

There may be a problem with the French language file(s), according to
this forum thread:

The problem is that the French language files seems to use (at least in
some places) HTML entities (like é) for the accented characters,
instead of using the characters directly. Unfortunately, Geeklog uses the
text on some of the buttons to distinguish which function has been
selected and that only works properly with the native characters (but not
with HTML entities).

Is anyone here familiar enough with French to look into this?
