Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the call for proposals to host QCrypt, the
flagship conference for the Quantum Cryptography community, in 2026.
In line with our commitment to geographic diversity, QCrypt annually
rotates between Europe, Asia, and America, and for 2026 we are specifically
looking for proposals from institutions in the *Americas*.
To get an idea of the size, scope, and structure of the conference, you can
visit the website for this year’s event at QCrypt 2024
<https://2024.qcrypt.net/>.
If you and your institution are interested in hosting QCrypt 2026, please
submit a letter of intent by December 1, 2024 to the QCrypt Steering
Committee (SC) at the address in Cc (qcrypt-steer at googlegroups.com)
including the following details:
-
Name and affiliation of the main contact person
-
Possible conference dates (between Sunday 16/08/2026 and Sunday
13/09/2026; duration: 1 week)
-
Location and size of the proposed conference venue.
The QCrypt SC will review all submissions and announce the top contenders
by January 1, 2025. These top contenders will then have one month to submit
a full proposal to the QCrypt SC by January 31, 2025.
If you know colleagues who may be interested in hosting but are not part of
this mailing list, please feel free to forward this email to them.
We look forward to receiving your proposals and thank you in advance for
your interest and support!
Best regards,
Marco
(On the behalf of the QCrypt Steering Committee)
