Here are some important news and information updates for QCrypt 23. We are just a little over a month away!! Be sure to register soon! The website (https://2023.qcrypt.net/) has more information.

Visa and ESTA information:
If needed, the responsibility for obtaining a VISA  is with the attendee. Should a VISA support letter be required, please follow the registration instructions. Letters have been promptly processed if requested. Attendees from certain countries may qualify for a visa waiver. Please see here <https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/business.html> for more information. However, attendees still require Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA<https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta>) approval prior to travel.

Early Bird registration deadline extended:
The deadline for the earlybird registration rate has been extended to July 15th. Be sure to register to get your spot at QCrypt23 before the prices go up. See the registration <https://2023.qcrypt.net/registration/> page for rates.

Deadline for registration fee waiver extended:
A limited amount of funding is being made available to support students who need assistance and would not be able to attend without that assistance. Students who seek a fee waiver should write to the conference organizers at 2023 at QCRYPT.NET<mailto:2023 at QCRYPT.NET> with the subject line "QCrypt 2023 Student Fee Waiver" by July 15th to receive further instructions.

UMD President and NIST ADLP to address QCrypt 23:
We are delighted to announce that UMD President Dr. Darryll Pines and NIST Associate Director for Laboratory Programs, Dr. Charles Romine will address <https://2023.qcrypt.net/speakers/> the attendees of QCrypt during the reception on Monday August 14th.

Industry Panel announced:
An Industry Panel discussion will take place on Thursday morning. The panel will include representatives from IDQuantique, Toshiba, Cisco, Qubitekk and NIST. See profiles in the  speaker <https://2023.qcrypt.net/speakers/> page.

Accepted papers announced.
Over 30 papers have been selected for contributed talks and over 100 abstracts have been selected for posters. Please see the link here<https://2023.qcrypt.net/accepted-papers/>.
Tutorial and Invited speakers announced:
We are excited to have a great list of tutorial and invited speakers. See the speaker <https://2023.qcrypt.net/speakers/> page for backgrounds. Abstracts and titles will be coming soon.
