META HIGH FIVES

TO THE NEWEST META-COACHES

Meta-High-Fives to our 23 new Meta-Coaches- 21 from New Zealand and 2 from
Australia! Ignition in Auckland New Zealand sponsored the training. Meta
High Fives also to 4 Meta-Coaches who returned as our Team Leaders/ Team
Coaches -Peter Price from Melbourne Australia, and Jan Canton, Sandra
Davies, and Diane Smith-all from New Zealand and graduates of the Coaching
Mastery in Sydney 2007. Master Neuro-Semantic trainer Colin Cox took the
fifth team as a team leader and we had two Meta-Coach Team Leaders and
Neuro-Semantic Trainers shadowing the training (which included
co-training)-Lena Gray and Martin Urban.

There were two very important firsts in this training:

. This was the very first time that both of our expert
coaches were Meta-Coaches; both Graham Richardson and Rosie Davoli. And
both were wonderful in the interview and in their demonstration of Coaching!

. This was the very first time in all 22 Meta-Coach
trainings prior to this that every single person reached the competency
benchmarks! All provisional status were about time (hours in the training)
or prerequisite trainings or conditions. This indicates how the structure
of the training has been evolving and developing. The benchmarks and those
benchmarking are being even more rigorous and yet we are able, as a team, to
get increasingly more through to competency level.

. A third really important first is that almost everybody
was getting KPIs for their sessions by the sixth and seventh days. Using
two chairs-the Outcome and their Coaching chairs, we were able to more
highly distinguish the difference between Outcome (and KPI) and the Coaching
Session -Thanks to Joseph Scott for that distinction!

We had a small training of only 23 persons but with 8 of us as team leaders,
shadowers, and trainers we had someone to benchmark every session. And
within 16 months we will have two more Meta-Coach Trainers and possibly 4
more since Joseph Scott and Germaine Rediger shadowed in July in Colorado.

In our group of new Meta-Coaches are four Neuro-Semantic NLP Trainers-

Geoff Wade

Alan Fayter

Andree James

Maria Kalpatzoglou

And Andre' commented that she originally had no intention of doing
Meta-Coaching because she's a trainer, not a coach, but that now she thinks
the "coaching" bit should be condensed and made part of the Trainers'
Training since a Trainer has to be able to coach in demonstrations in order
to really demonstrate the structure, the process, the pattern, or whatever
one is training.

And it is such a powerful combination! Training and Coaching and/or
Coaching and Training. The trainer who can coach (can meta-coach) has a way
of getting rapport and entering into a person's matrix much, much quicker
and more efficiently than without those skills. And the Coach who can
present, who can deliver information effectively and precisely to a board,
can persuade and influence a business breakfast, etc. will be able to get a
lot more business.

I suppose we can count this training as an International one, although it
was different from all of the other Meta-Coach trainings of Module III in
that we only had 2 countries represented. If we count Trilby who came to
New Zealand from Switzerland last year and originally from South Africa-then
3 countries. Yet we did have something else new-of the new participants,
half were Maori and so will be bringing back to their community some truly
powerful tools for empowerment and transformation. And that was the vision
and dream that so many of them expressed at the Graduation.

Our next Coaching Mastery program in New Zealand will be the first week of
October, 2009. Our next Coaching Mastery in Australia will be November 2009
(Sydney) and then in the Gold Coast the first week of April 2010. There has
now been 730 people trained and certified in Mea-Coaching world-wide in 38
countries (even though many have not kept their license current by keeping
up their membership fee).

New things coming-

. More details about the Facilitation model

. Re-ordering of the benchmark numbers. Behaviors marked
at 4 will be 3.5 and those at 5 will be 3.75. And since elegance is at
level 4- this requires the synergy of all 7 core skills simultaneously at
3.75. This means it includes exquisite timing, integration, and the
gestalting of something more than the sum of all these parts. Shane Stewart
highlighted that the benchmarks from 0 to 5 were non-linear and therefore
exponential (and we have a diagram to illustrate that). We are now
beginning to map and model out the details of this exponential growth.
