Representative Adriano Espaillat to Host District Impeachment Forum in the
Bronx

*Rep. Espaillat Was Among the First Members of Congress to Call for the
Impeachment of President Donald J. Trump*

NEW YORK, NY – *Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13)* will host an
Impeachment Forum and community ‘Speak Out’ event on Thursday, October 24th
at 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Vladeck Hall at the Amalgamated Housing
Corporation located at 74 Van Cortlandt Park S., Bronx, NY 10463.

“As a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, I had the opportunity
to participate in several of the impeachment depositions held this week in
Congress. We, along with the American public, have learned that the actions
of multiple senior national security officials have raised concerns about
an ongoing pattern of corruption in the White House and throughout the
Trump administration,”* said Rep. Espaillat (NY-13)*. “We know that it is
inappropriate for the President to pressure a foreign country to undermine
our elections, and we know that we must follow the facts to hold him
accountable for doing so.”

During the discussion, *Rep. Espaillat* will be joined by special guest *Jamal
Greene,* the Dwight Professor of Law at Columbia Law School. Professor
Greene’s scholarship focuses on the structure of legal and constitutional
argument. He is the author of more than 30 law review articles and is a
frequent media commentator on the Supreme Court and on constitutional law.
Professor Greene has served as a law clerk to the Honorable Guido Calabresi
on the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and for the Honorable John Paul
Stevens on the U.S. Supreme Court.

sobre el Proceso de Destitución (Impeachment) y un evento comunitario
"Pronúnciese (Speak Out)" el jueves 24 de octubre, de 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 pm,
en Vladeck Hall en Amalgamated Housing Corporation, ubicada en el 74 de Van
Cortlandt Park S., Bronx, NY 10463.

“Como miembro del Comité de Asuntos Exteriores de la Cámara de
Representantes, tuve la oportunidad de participar en varias de las
declaraciones para el proceso de destitución realizadas esta semana en el
Congreso. Nosotros, junto con el público estadounidense, nos hemos enterado
