Different ways to share your views: 


Members of the public are invited to attend meetings and hearings held by the RGB. Those wishing to do so may communicate their views to the RGB via two methods:




   
   - Testify at Hearings : Anyone who wants to comment on the proposed rent guidelines at a public hearing must sign up to speak. You can sign up before the hearing by calling 212-669-7480 and press 0 to register by 12:00pm the business day prior to the hearing. You can also register at the hearing locations from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on June 20.  The Board has traditionally allowed two minutes for each speaker, alternating between owner and tenant representatives.  Pre-registered speakers are given priority in the order of speakers.  The hearings usually begin with testimony from public officials invited by the Board. 
   - Submit written testimony by mail or email: You may submit your views in writing by addressing them to the Chair, or any Board member, c/o: NYC Rent Guidelines Board, 1 Centre Street, Suite 2210, New York, NY 10007 or by online form.
