| Dear Parents and District 3 Stakeholders,
Tomorrow, Monday March 4, 2019, the SUNY Charter School Board meets to decide on yet another charter school in District 3. This TWELTH charter, KIPP's Upper West Side/Harlem Middle School, would become the second largest middle school in District 3. It also plans to enroll children in 5th grade, a huge burden for our elementary schools.
A lot of our elected officials have written letters, in agreement, and they are ALL posted on our homepage: www.cec3.org.
We have a simple request for you today: PLEASE SIGN this Change.org petition! Several members of CEC3 are planning to attend the SUNY Board meeting tomorrow, armed with letters from our elected officials and Superintendent, and the hundreds of signatures we received over the last two days. But we need more!
