[BwayDems] Fwd: PA James to host New School Town Hall on 2/12

Hello all--

As you may have heard, the Public Advocate has been working closely with
college students across the city to craft legislation that targets
on-campus sexual violence.  The result is the NYC Campus Safety Act.

The NYC Safety Act seeks to provide City resources to assist colleges
across the city to strengthen education, prevention and response to
on-campus sexual and domestic violence as well as boost the reporting
mechanisms for survivors.

On Thursday, *February 12th* the Public Advocate will seek the input of
students again to improve the bill.  This *town hall* will take place from
5pm-7pm at the New School, Theresa Lang Student Center, 44 West 13th St.,
second floor.  Please invite any NYC students who may be interested.
