ways to help serve the Washington Heights/Inwood community, and so we're
sending a *brief survey* out to local educators. You're the experts — we're
looking for your feedback and ideas so that we can best direct our
energies. Word Up is committed to becoming a great resource for the kids in
our neighborhood. If you are an educator, let us know your thoughts:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/16-acsrMwCepwzuiJMe5xsFNThQvMZtioGaYiMLt4aAw/viewform.
Word Up also offers a *School Shares option of our CSB program*, a
membership system modeled after Community Share Agriculture (CSA) that
gives members their pick from our crop of used books. We offer CSB School
Shares for teachers and schools in order to encourage your students to
participate in the store. For $50, every kid in your class will get a
wooden nickel, redeemable for any used book between $1-$5, and the teacher
will get a free tote bag. This means that you'll get far more value than
you pay for, because your students can all choose $5 titles from our
shelves. We want to inspire young readers! More info about the CSB is here:

falls below 55 degrees, the inside temperature is required to be at least
68 degrees Fahrenheit; and,

· Between the hours of 10pm and 6am, if the temperature outside
falls below 40 degrees, the inside temperature is required to be at least
55 degrees Fahrenheit.

Tenants who are cold in their apartments should first attempt to notify the
building owner, managing agent or superintendent. If heat is not restored,
