Schumer: Don't Fast Track Gas Exports

The gas industry is shamelessly using the crisis in Ukraine to win Congressional approval of expedited and rubber-stamped liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports.

But poisoning our water, polluting our air, endangering our food, and threatening our climate won't help Europe.

More exports equals more fracking, and it stimulates demand for pipelines, compressor stations, and other infrastructure, such as the proposed Port Ambrose LNG terminal off Long Beach.

We need to send a message to Senator Schumer that LNG exports is NOT in our national interest!
