[BwayDems] TONIGHT: Important Community Meeting

Dear Neighbor,

 

I write with a reminder that the Department of Health (DOH) public scoping
meeting on Jewish Home Lifecare's (JHL) proposed nursing home is tonight.
The meeting will be held at 6:30pm in P.S. 163, located at 163 West 97th
Street.

 

The meeting will allow for public comment on the scope of the draft
Environmental Impact Statement, which will analyze the potential effects
of Jewish Home Lifecare's West 97th Street proposal. I encourage all
interested stakeholders to come and speak. In addition to the submission
of testimony in person at tonight's meeting, DOH will accept written or
emailed testimony for ten days following the meeting. Testimony can be
sent to:
