Rangel Brings Washington to the District!
"A DAY WITH SBA/MBDA"

WHAT: Our country is experiencing fiscal pains and President Barack Obama is pushing for initiatives that help small business owners and entrepreneurs succeed as they play an increasingly vital role in our nation's economic recovery. Congressman Charles B. Rangel has invited Karen G. Mills, Administrator of the US Small Business Administration, and David Hinson, Director of the U.S. Minority Business Development Agency, to speak about various resources and tools provided by the Obama Administration to better equip the small business community. Following their keynotes will be a roundtable discussion, in which Administrator Mills and Director Hinson will address the concerns of various small business owners in the District.

Part Two of the program will feature break-out sessions with SBA and MBDA representatives to discuss topics, including access to capital and government contracting opportunities. There will also be one-on-one small business counseling sessions for participants. Opportunities for networking and meeting with the presenters will be available at the conclusion of the event.

   ¡Rangel Trae a Washington al Distrito!
"UN DIA CON LA SBA/MBDA"

Qué: Nuestro país está experimentando dolores fiscales y el Presidente Barack Obama insiste en iniciativas que ayuden a  los pequeños propietarios de negocios y empresarios tener éxito ya que desempeñan un papel cada vez más vital en la recuperación de la economía de nuestra nación. El Congresista Charles B. Rangel ha invitado a la Administradora Karen G. Mills, de la Administración de Pequeños Negocios de los E.U. y al Director David Hinson, del Departamento de la Agencia de Desarrollo para Negocios Minoritarios, para dialogar  acerca de diversos recursos y herramientas proporcionadas por la Administración de Obama para mejor equipar a la comunidad de pequeñas empresas. Después de sus aperturas habrá una discusión interpersonal, en donde la Administradora Mills y el Director Hinson dirigirán las preocupaciones de varios propietarios de pequeñas empresas en el Distrito.
La Segunda parte del programa se enfocara en  sesiones con representantes de la SBA y MBDA para dialogar de tópicos, los cuales incluyen el acceso a inversión de capital y oportunidades contractadas por el gobierno. También hará pequeños sesiones de asesoramiento para los participantes individualizado. Oportunidades para establecer contactos y  la oportunidad de reunirse con los presentantes estarán disponibles en el cierre del evento.
