Dear friends,
 
As we say goodbye to summer and hello to fall, I'd like to take a moment to tell you about an important health initiative I am proud to help organize. With support from wonderful partners who are working with my office, we are pleased to announce our free flu shot campaign, which will help our community stay healthy in the coming months. 
 
I am encouraging all my constituents to take part and receive a free flu shot. Please see the following schedule for free flu shots. 
 
- Wednesday, October 26, at The Hebrew Tabernacle  
   (551 Ft. Washington ave. @ W 185th)  
 
- Tuesday, November 1, at Church of the Ascension  
  (221 West 107th St. between Amsterdam and Broadway)
 
- Thursday, November 3, at The Caroline Apartments  
  (210 Sherman  Ave. @ W 207th st)   
 
**10 am - 1 pm For All Locations**
 
I'd like to thank the Visiting Nurse Service for their assistance with this initiative. This is indeed a team effort including my colleagues in government Assembly members Herman "Denny" Farrell, Guillermo Linares, and Danny O'Donnell; NYC Council members Ydanis Rodriguez, Guillermo Linares, and Melissa Mark-Viverito; and community organizations like the Hebrew Tabernacle Congregation, Inwood Community Services, Church of the Ascension, and Dominican Sunday.
