Dear colleagues,

QCrypt 2017 in Cambridge is history. I would like to thank all
organizers for their great efforts! Video recordings of all talks will

In case you are interested in the inner workings of QCrypt, have a look

QCrypt 2018 will take place August 27–31, 2018 at Shanghai International
Convention Center, Pudong Shanghai.

At this point, the QCrypt steering committee invites proposals to host
QCrypt 2019. This will be handled by a 2-step process:

1. If you are interested, please send a letter of intent to
<steer at qcrypt.net> by October 20, 2017, with the following information:
* Name and affiliation of main organizer
* Possibilities of conference dates (preferably in late August 2019)
* Location and size of intended conference venue (according to the
current rotation of continents, proposals from North and South America
are preferred)

2. The steering committee will ask the top contenders to work out a full
proposal.
