ISNS COMMUNITY MEETING | META-COUNSELLING

I am delighted to share exciting news with you! Our upcoming Neuro-Semantics Community Meeting is scheduled for 10 June 2023, and we warmly invite you to join us for this online session. It will be a wonderful opportunity for us to come together, recharge our knowledge of Neuro-Semantics, refresh our perspectives, and be inspired by new learning. Additionally, it's a chance for us to reconnect with fellow members from all around the world within the International Society of Neuro-Semantics (ISNS).

The theme for this Community Meeting is Meta-Counselling, focusing on the fascinating topic of discerning the boundaries between therapy and coaching. We will be exploring six thought-provoking questions related to this subject:

1.	The 3 distinctions in Meta-Coach to discern if a person needs therapy and/or coaching are the following, how well do you understand each as a boundary distinction?
Does the person have the ego-strength to face life’s challenges?
Does the person mostly live in the past?
Is the person basically “okay” within oneself?

2.	Mentally health and mental ill-health is always a matter of degree.  And it can fluctuate over time depending on circumstances.  Where would you put the percentages for “ready for the challenge of coaching?”   50% -- 70% -- 80%?

2.	The question of ego-strength is the inner strength in a person for mentally and emotionally facing and dealing with what is unpleasant.  What are the strengths you depend on and need to be able to do that?

4.	There is a no-man’s land in-between therapy and coaching.  Here a person may almost be ready for coaching, but not quite.  Several APG patterns can be helpful in this. Consider each of the following:
Power Zone
Meta-Stating Self
Meta-Stating Emotions

5.	There are also numerous NLP patterns; consider the following for strengthening the ego and enabling the self to be okay.

6.	How interested would you be for a new certification for the in-between area?  Perhaps  “Meta-Counselling?”
