[Neurons] The NLP Awards - and a challenge to you!

Karen Moxom (vision at anlp.org)  has written to those of us on the NLP
Leadership Summit encouraging us and all we know to send in more
nominations.  I'm resending this as encouragement so we can have a great NLP
Conference in London this coming April.

 

Here are some of the things she has written --- with a call for action.

.        We are now 5 days away from the closing date for nominations for
the NLP Awards.  So far we only have received 11 nominations across all 7
categories for the NLP Awards.  I know of so many people who are doing great
work globally using NLP to enhance and empower our society!

 

 

The Categories:

.         Making a Difference in Society

.         Health

.         Business

.         Education

.         Public Sector / Community

.         Internationally

.         Who has made a Lifetime Contribution to the field

 

Karen writes that she knows members of the NLP Leadership Summit  group "who
are doing great things with PTSD, drug addictions, gun crime, schools and
colleges, in the UK and abroad.  Between you, you have trained and worked
with thousands of people who are using their NLP skills to make a
difference.  At the last conference there were cited examples of students
taking NLP into prisons, drug awareness programmes, dementia groups, special
educational needs groups."  "The NLP Awards give the field of NLP a platform
from which to shine and celebrate all the good we are doing in society."

"I speak from my heart, because I feel so strongly that NLP does make a
difference in our society.  My fear is that if NLP fades into the
background, it will partly be because we, as a community, didn't step up and
do the best we could to shine a positive light on NLP."
