THE CHINA ADVENTURE

The vision of Meta-Coaching is to take the Meta-Coaching System everywhere
on this planet. Already we have Meta-Coaches in 35 countries and we have
plans for expanding in many other places this year.

We have just completed Part I of the first entrance of the Meta-Coaching
System into mainland China. Team Wong and his company, Wisdom Bank, were
the sponsors- and who worked closely with Mandy Chai (an Neuro-Semantic
Trainer and Meta-Coach) in Hong Kong. We originally planned for 35 so that
out of those 35 we would develop a group of Team Leaders for the following
Meta-Coach Trainings, but over the six months prior to the training, the
numbers grew to 50 then 70 then 90. By the time it began we had 97
participants for Coaching Genius (the 3 days of APG focused on the
Professional Coaching Track). And when we began the first 3 days of
Coaching Mastery we had 94.

Now 94 participants is nothing in a general seminar, and not all that much
for a basic workshop, but in a competency based training- 94 turns into a
major event. Why? Because it is not about attendance it is about intimate
personal attention to each person every day! And that's why a single
trainer cannot do it, nor three trainers, nor even ten. It takes a team of
people to provide that kind of personal attention - and that team has to be
trained and highly qualified.

So even when I fly to Guangzhou China and when I met with the Team Leaders
on our training day prior to the training, I really did not have a good
sense of what would happen or how it would go-not with 94 participants. I
told them that I mostly had my fingers crossed, hoping that it would go
well, that we would all pull it together, and that we wouldn't have a major
crisis in the process! Oh yes, another thing- our team was completely new!
No one had ever been on the Assist Team before! We did have two planning to
come, but various things caused a change of plans. And it wasn't until the
first day of Coaching Mastery that Tessie Lim from Malaysia showed up - the
only person who had been at MC more than once and previously on the Assist
Team.

So with an Assist team of Meta-Coaches and other highly trained people,
including two NLP trainers:

Mandy Chai (Hong Kong)

Wilkie Choi (Hong Kong)

Kin Wui Fong (Malaysia

Salina Lee (Hong Kong)

Desmond Sim (Malaysia)

Carven Yiu (Singapore)

Tessie Lim (Malaysia)

Arial'a Miller (Toyko)

Teresa (Hong Kong)

Team Wong (Guangzhou, China, Sponsor)

With 94 participants for the benchmarking of competency skill, that meant 32
groups of triads and so we actually needed 32 Team leaders (which is more
than what we have in attendance at most MC trainings!).

A big congratulation to all who made the Launch happen! In May there will
be nearly 100 more Meta-Coaches - the majority in China.

To your highest and best
