Meta-Coaching in Mexico- the 5th Generation

 

 

I made a comment to Omar Salom and David Murphy in Mexico City last week.
After we completed the first part of the Meta-Coach Training of module III
(Coaching Mastery) last weekend I said,

"Whatever we did, I think this group is the closest and most bonded group of
all the Coaching Mastery groups."

 

How that came about I'm not sure.  David taught the Coaching Essentials
module and Omar trained the Coaching Genius module and most of the people
came through these modules together.  Perhaps that was it.  Perhaps it was
the vision that each of them set from the beginning and through the process
of introducing the NLP model and then the Meta-States model regarding how
these models fit together as well as the next five models to create the
systematic approach of Meta-Coaching.

 

Perhaps it was the fact that both emphasize and live the principle of apply
to self in all of the models and patterns-that Meta-Coaching is not just
about developing skills, it is experience of transformation itself.  It is
becoming a more professional communicator, awakening to one's possibilities,
and unleashing one's own potentials.  Or it could have been the excitement
of putting it altogether in module III.  Whatever it was, I was really
impressed with the way the group bonded and the passionate enthusiasm of the
group.

 

What's new with Meta-Coaching in 2009?  Several things.  We have now
benchmarked the process of how to get a KPI with a client (KPI - key
performance indicator) and we have simplified the learning process by
specifying the four key distinctions for drilling down to create a precise
outcome that can then be measures.  Would you like to know them?

 

Regarding content, we have related the two parts of a coaching session
(coaching clarity and coaching experience) to the Axes of Change and the
Matrix model to provide a clearer picture of the coaching process.  We have
refined the measurement system of the benchmarks and more fully defined the
level of both expertise and mastery.

 

In Mexico, Salom Change Dynamics is now the sole and exclusive sponsor for
the first time.  We also had a new venue-one of the very best venues I've
seen anywhere in the world.  On a special location that made it feel like we
were in an exclusive wooded area, surrounded by trees and beautiful
landscape and buildings, it was an absolutely delightful spot for getting
away from things and being immersed in the intensity of the coaching
bootcamp. 

 

And while we had 5 new people as part of our Assist Team, we had an
excellent team of 11 Team Leaders that facilitated the processes.  David
Murphy co-trained and shadowed the training with Omar and I and so has
become the ninth Meta-Coach Trainer and so a part of the board of the
Meta-Coach Foundation.  The next part is mid-May and dates for 2010 have
already been set if you are in Mexico or Latin America and ready for
Meta-Coaching.
