Re: Building a Nation with Rich Internal Resources
While the year 2007 has drawn to an end, the baton has been passed to year 2008 and it has well just got started. I wonder if some of us have developed some resolutions for this year and the years that follow. Or perhaps some might just lay back and let the world spins as they travel through times wherever the stream brings them and continue with the flow not knowing where it eventually will end.
Breaking my journey to the land of NoWhere.
But I was pretty lucky that I did not really continue to travel in that stream of absolute ‘unconsciousness.’ I broke that journey 5 years ago, and took another pathway in search of excellence. Read several books on motivation and management from authors like Steven Covey, Tony Buzan, Anthony Robbins, Dale Carnegie, Denis Waitley etc. It was only by chance that I bumped into this ‘weird’ training program acronym-ed NLP and Neuro-Semantics.
It was a big decision to make because it was something big for me to spend. And I did not have that much to spare for something that I barely know anything about. There was anxiety. What would I truly get out of this? What’s the money worth? What if I get ‘nothing’? What if I lose and what will I lose? It’s the moment of decision that really transformed me. I would agree with the words of Tony Robbins. So I said, “Let’s do it and find out myself.” Most of you must have been familiar with this meta-program. An axis of decision that is so prevalent in “The Axes of Change model”, among the many Neuro-Semantics models arisen since the Meta-States model’s entry into the world of NLP in 1994 stimulated by the originator Dr Michael Hall. If that is not mastery what is?
Yes, “Let’s do it and find out myself.”
You know, for a lot of people, such a decision was extremely hard to make. It was certainly true for me.
So when I traveled for trainings in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Colorado, USA and Auckland, New Zealand, I met, experienced and got trained by world-class developer, researcher, master trainers and coaches of NLP and Neuro-Semantics; Andrew Bryant, Michael Hall, Michelle Duval, Michael Armour (guest master coach), Cheryl Lucas, Omar Salom, Germaine, Colin Cox, Lena Gray, Denis Bridoux, Martin Urban to name a few, and it seems that the world of excellence unveils itself before me….models that I can pick and choose. As the NLP pre-supposition goes, “People make the best choices open to them.” The more choices I have the better decision I can make.
Yes, it is all about mastery isn’t it...the mastery that I finally decided to bring to Brunei Darussalam (means “an abode of peace”), in the heart of South-East Asia. The International Master Practitioner Training of Neuro-Semantics and NLP, 2008 is a regional and international gateway for building your authentic mastery-based skills in the field of NLP and Neuro-Semantics.
Building a Nation with Rich Internal Resources
Since I was 12, where I used to live in a wooden-stilt house in a ‘kampong’ (locally means village), I’ve developed a keen interest in ‘nation-building.’ I talked to my late father, then a community leader who had great passion in helping the poor and the low-income earners of the community, about self-help programs. I coupled that with reading some books on the poor, the wealthy and how to alleviate poverty, and began asking myself questions like
· “How do I improve the standard of living and the economics of these people?
· How do I increase their quality of life?
· What do I do for their personal enrichment?
· What are the ingredients of excellence in life that can be offered to them?
· How do all of these fit into building a nation to peace and prosperity?”
I thought that was what 'nation-building' meant to me. I didn’t know how to answer these questions then but they kept playing in my mind for many many years.
Come to think of it, I feel that’s what drew me into NLP and especially Neuro-Semantic NLP in the first place. And while there are in every country various external natural resources like oil and gas, water and agriculture etc, what I’ve realized is that it is the human resources that really makes a difference -- a difference that could generate a competitive advantage, and a difference that could build a healthy sense of well-being for a nation.
And that’s another reason why I have taken the risk of learning Neuro-Semantic NLP and I’m now launching out to do something I’ve never done before – and asking for your help. I’m bringing Neuro-Semantic NLP to Brunei Darussalam..
Where?
If you’re thinking, “Brunei Darussalam? Where in the world is Brunei Darussalam?” Let me tell you. It is in South-East Asia, situated at the northern tip of the island of Borneo, north of Bali, Indonesia, south of Hong Kong, east of Singapore, and west of the Philippines. J (See brochure for more)
And why? Why bring Neuro-Semantic NLP, Colin Cox and Lena Gray to Brunei? It is to bring the most cutting-edge models for accessing the best and deepest resources in people--- their personal mastery in state management, communication, creativity, laser-beam focus, meaningfulness, top performances, etc.
You could help me. If you're interested in your own training and development in actualizing your best and accessing your inner resources --- this training will give you the highest quality of training in the field of NLP and give you an international certification in Neuro-Semantics. And, if you know people anywhere in this area, and especially this region or anywhere in the world --- let them know about this.
I have a special website for this training. Go to http://transcend.page.tl/Home.htm
You can also request for a full brochure by writing to me at coach.demetaexquisite at yahoo.com
And when is this going to happen?
And one last thing…REMEMBER the dates: April 25th to May 7th 2008, and schedule yourself to be with us in Brunei Darussalam. See you there.
With kind regards
