re: The latest Graduates

and Meta-Coaching as a Systematic System

The newest class of Certified and Licensed Meta-Coaches with ACMC credentials have just graduated in the training in Sydney Australia that Michelle Duval (and I to a lesser degree) sponsored under her Coaching business Equilibrio International. A big thanks to Michelle for sponsoring the training while running a full-time Coaching Business- that was a tremendous strain on her resources, time, and energy. We mostly used the Actualise newsletter for promoting the training.

As always, this was an international training with people coming from as far away as the Netherlands and France in Europe, Canada, Singapore (3), Malaysia, Indonesia, New Zealand (5), India, Manila, and of course, the majority (20) from all over Australia. We had four Meta-Coaches reviewing which speaks about their commitment to their own excellence and development. Their names and details will soon be on the www.neurosemantics.com website --- and later on the new www.meta-coaching.org website.

What stood out for me with this training was the exceptional way the Team Leaders (Steve Hodgson, Rosie Davoli, Lena Gray, Mariani Ng, and Dan Georgeson) rose to the challenge that they discovered from day one of the training. Namely, that this especially small number of team leaders had to handle 34 participants. This mean that we had to cover 12 coaching triads (2 duads) for the benchmarking of the competency skills. [As an aside, we did have 11 for the Team but 6 were unable to make it during the last two weeks. And what a contrast to the 13 we had as Team Leaders in Mexico and South Africa this year.]

With this newest class of Meta-Coaches, we now have approximately 700 Meta-Coaches on the planet-in some 40 countries.

Looking forward to 2008 - 3 Meta-Coach Trainings are planned:

Mexico: Feb. (for part 2 of the 8-day training) then March and May

New Zealand: September

South Africa: October

Current there are 5 Meta-Coach Trainers including Michelle and I and several more in the making as they go through a rigorous set of prerequisites and training for that. Because the Meta-Coaching Training System is a licensed program, there is a license to renew every three years. Currently, the other three Trainers of the Meta-Coaching System include:

Cheryl Lucas (South Africa)

Reg Reynolds (South Africa)

Omar Salom (Mexico)

At the present moment we have 3 in the Meta-Coach series of books with more planned, the first three are in print - and the others are due for production in 2008 and 2009. Because our plan is to provide an entire systematic approach to Coaching as a field and profession and because the Meta-Coach Training System is a full system using seven models, one way to create credibility for the field is to provide a full set of books.

1) Coaching Change

2) Coaching Conversations

3) Unleash: A Guide to your Ultimate Self-Actualization

4) Self-Actualization Psychology

5) Achieving Peak Performance

6) Self-Actualizing Leaders

7) Self-Actualizing Companies

8) The Crucible: The Transforming Power of Unlearning

9) Benchmarking: The Art of Measuring the Intangible

With the training in Sydney, I learned some new ways to train the Axes of Change as well as the Self-Actualization Quadrants and will be implementing those ideas in the upcoming trainings. On a personal note, I am planning to reduce my traveling and training schedule by 50% in 2008 as I work on some projects at home in Colorado.
