Neuro-Semantic Trainers' Training





We have just completed the 2007 Trainers' Training in Auckland New Zealand that Colin Cox and Lena Gray of Ignition co-sponsored with myself. It was by far the best ever -best in terms of the quality of men and women who came - as a group they were far more committed, visionary, passionate, and knowledgeable about Neuro-Semantics. Best also in terms of the quality of the benchmarking of the skills and the ability of the group of co-trainers to facilitate an intense crucible experience for the participants. And best in terms of the sense of community that was created this year.

The new Neuro-Semantic Trainers at NSTT came from 13 different countries - Australia, New Zealand, USA, Venezuela, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, England, Germany, Sweden, Norway, and the Netherlands. And from this group we are expecting that another six Institutes of Neuro-Semantics will emerge in the coming months.

There were five of us as Neuro-Semantic trainers who facilitated the process and made presentations - Colin Cox and Lena Gray (New Zealand), Denis Bridoux (England), Michelle Duval (Australia), and myself (USA). Two other Trainers helped with the benchmarking - Steve Hodgson and Martin Urban (Australia). Steve also stayed for the entire time helping out with processes, patterns, insights, and running the music and sound system as only he can!

With a new structure from 2004 and 2005, every single trainer reached competency level in terms of presentation and training skills -and many of them significantly above competency level. The presentations were the best ever and with the Blue Examine Sheets we were able to spend several hours on the content information of both NLP and Neuro-Semantics. 

As always, we ran an APG training in the middle of the training so the Trainers can see and experience a live training from a meta-position and work with the new people. While we only have another 30 or so coming in for APG, they each were able to work with a personal trainer and get a great experience of their first experience of Neuro-Semantics.


With so many people from so many different cultures, we had a wonderful time enjoying the multi-culturalism which lies at the heart of Neuro-Semantics. Seven or eight of our Trainers made their first-ever presentation in English! How about that! And to begin the training we had a welcoming from the Mauri community.

This was the 9th Graduating class of Neuro-Semantic Trainers so that there are now over 200 people trained in Neuro-Semantics to this level. Over 50 are active as Neuro-Semantic Trainers and to those these 30 take the list of active Trainers to over 80.

During this time, Colin and I appeared on a Breakfast TV show to talk about Neuro-Semantics and the difference it can make in one's life. If you didn't know it, Colin was New Zealand's "Strongest Man" three years in a row and an accomplished athlete and so while we were talking, a video of him pulling a Train (!!) played in the background!

If you had planned to attend NSTT this year and missed it, well, you missed a truly tremendous experience. Next year we are talking about hosting Trainers' in Mexico.

Here's to the meta-transformations that the men and women of the 2007 will be creating all around the world!
