Almost anything would be better than what we have now :-)

I just ran out of time and the original Topics Editor works so I just left
it with the hopes someone else would update it.

My original idea was to use some jQuery with a tree plugin and combine a
tree and the topic edit form all on one page. This would obviously take a
bit of time.

I like your idea as well.

I see that the topics are indented in the Topic Name column. Does that show
which topics are children of other topics?

I was feeling a feeling of strangeness about the Topic Manager.
Why is it a list of the icon? Less information.
In the activities of Tom, we got the new Topic Engine now.
If so, let's also get new Topic Manager.
