The House of Representatives is on the brink of advancing an infrastructure bill that expands subsidies to fossil fuel companies<https://www.foodandwaterwatch.org/2021/09/13/house-ways-means-committee-advances-egregious-fossil-fuel-subsidies/>, adding funding for false solutions like carbon capture to existing handouts to the industry.

We need Schumer, as Senate Majority Leader, to hold the line against these dangerous subsidies.

The Build Back Better Act must #BuildBackFossilFree – and if the House fails to strip these subsidies from the bill, Schumer MUST do so in the Senate.
