OnSunday, April 29, 2018, the Broadway Democrats will host our annualSpring Fling benefit gala, at the popular Upper West Side restaurant, 107West, 2787 Broadway, between 107th and 108th Streets, from 3:00-6:00 pm.Please join us and help us continue to champion the Democratic agenda forjustice and prosperity for all New Yorkers.

Broadway Democrats presents its Annual Award to LetitiaJames, New York City Public Advocate since 2014. A former Legal Aidattorney, Ms. James has been a strong advocate for criminal justice reform,tenant’s rights and workers’ rights. She also has a long history of defending children infoster care and children with disabilities, fighting for quality education forall, and ensuring the dignity of children receiving school lunches. In addition, she is the first woman of color tohold citywide office in New York City. This year, The Broadway Democrats areproud to honor this tireless advocate for all New Yorkers.

We also present the Ida and Jesse FrankelCommunity Service Award to the Morningside Heights Community Coalition(MHCC). MHCC has worked diligently to develop a re-zoning plan to assurethat the neighborhood remains the livable and friendly respite that it has longbeen. It has also worked to limit the intrusion of super tall buildings thathave no place in our community!

2018 will be an incredibly busy year for New YorkDemocrats, as we continue to fight the regressive and repressive agenda of theTrump administration and work to see that Democratic candidates are electedthroughout New York State, and the country. We hope you’ll attend our benefit,and that you'll support our work on behalf of Democratic candidates andprogressive values by contributing in one of the following categories:
