[BwayDems] 6/30 Keep Families Together: Logistics, Marshal Support

> We all stand together in our collective outrage over what's happening.This crisis and the impacts of this administration on the broader immigrant and muslim community will be felt for decades to come.

> This effort is in alignment with a National Day of Action to End Family Separation being led by moveon.org - dozens of cities are taking action. The New York City Action will consist of a March stepping off at Foley Square - marching across the Brooklyn Bridge and arriving at Cadman Plaza. There will be a program at Cadman Plaza in front of the WW2 Memorial from 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM. All New Yorkers are encouraged to attend! Families and children are welcome! It will be hot and sunny so bring water, a hat, sunscreen etc. Blankets are fine, no chairs on the turf. There will be a water station for folks that need it outside the park on Tillary Street. There will be port-a-potties on Cadman Plaza West.

> We are expecting THOUSANDS of people that means we need A LOT of  volunteer Marshals!  There will be a marshal training in person and accessible on video chat at 6:00 PM today - Friday, June 29th, 2018. For more information and to sign-up, please click here. Marshals must be available to be onsite at 8:45 AM.

> The current schedule is as follows:
> 10:00am - People begin gathering at Foley Square
> 10:30am - Preparing to step off for march
> 10:45am - Stepping off for march across Brooklyn Bridge
> 11:30am - Marchers begin arriving at Cadman Plaza in Brooklyn 
> 11:45am - Official rally program starts 
> 1:00pm - Rally concludes
