[BwayDems] Steve Bannon does NOT belong on the National Security Council!

Amidthe outcry over a ban on asylum-seekers and immigrants during the last weekendof January 2017, news organizations reported on another major development: therestructuring of the National Security Council (NSC) to make room for PresidentDonald Trump's chief political strategist, Steve Bannon, demoting the Directorof National Intelligence and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to “as-needed”attendees. Bannon has even been appointed to the Principals committee of theNSC. Itdoesn’t seem as if this appointment requires Senate approval. However, theSenate Committee on Homeland Security is taking calls about Bannon's appointmentto the NSC. 1.   Youcan call: 202-224-4751.2.   Ifthe line is busy, hang up and keep pressing redial until you get through. Youmay get a voicemail with a full mailbox but keep trying.3.   Whenyou get through, there's one ring, then a long pause before their greeting, andanother pause before the beep. The calls are coming so quickly there is a recordedvoice asking for name, number and brief message.4.   Thenumber of calls are important, so briefly state your opposition to the appointment."Hello, my name is ______. I live in _______. I do not need a response. I aman American citizen, and I am opposed to Steve Bannon's appointment to the NSC.He does not represent the majority of Americans and is wholly unqualified toserve on the National Security Council. Please count my vote against him." (Feel free to change the wording!)
