   Right now, Democrats in Washington are staging a sit-in on the House floor to demand Republicans finally take action on gun control.      In 2016, it's status quo for dozens of Americans to be killed by gun violence each day. Recent polling confirms that the majority of Americans support stricter gun control laws. In fact, 92% of people polled by CNN want expanded background checks. It's past time for Congress to act and as we speak, democratic leaders are making history and demanding responsible action. The opposition being mounted against commonsense reform is unforgivable.      You can help.
