I am reaching out to you because I think you may know a College Student and/or a Recent Grad who would be a great candidate for the Congressional Collegiate Internship Program, and to let you know that seats for the Spring 2016 program are now open.



Congressional Interns dedicate their time, talents, energy, and service to better our great nation. They are an integral part of the team and the assignments given to an intern on any given day include conducting research, managing constituent inquiries, attending meetings, preparing briefings/memos, and staffing events. They also participate in a series of service projects and small group meetings with Congressman Rangel to explore and discuss different policy aspects on issues being debated in Congress. In addition, there are many opportunities to attend events within the Congressional District and throughout the city that feature notable speakers, political professionals, and interesting discussions on many of the issues facing our country.  Upon completion, interns receive a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition in appreciation of your successful completion of the internship program.



There is no higher honor or greater responsibility than serving your country by exhibiting a staunch commitment to strengthening our nation and making a difference through your labor. The program is open only to College Students and recent College Graduates (Undergrad/Grad). There are no residency requirements.
