Hello Broadway Democrats!
As you know, the Broadway Democrats endorsed Hillary Clinton to be our next president. After watching all the other states weigh in, it's finally New York's turn! On Tuesday, April 19th, our neighborhood gets its voice heard! We have a number of activities to get-out-the-vote . . .
1) We will be doing "Dear Neighbor" letters to explain why *you* support Hillary. For those of you who haven't done those before, there is a standard letter you can use (or you can write your own) that you put your name on (and, hopefully, a couple of neighbors' names) and stuff your building with it either Sunday or Monday night. We can make copies for you or you can make your own.
2) We will be covering the polls on Primary Day. Curtis and I, as usual, will have the main table at P.S. 165 on 109th Street but we need people to hand out literature at other polling sites. Also, we would like some company at our table. You never know who will stop by!
3) Street visibility. We will be covering the subways at rush hour, handing out literature on Monday evening, Tuesday morning, and Tuesday evening. We will also be out at the Columbia Farmers' Market on Thursday (tomorrow) and Sunday, and the Street Fair on Broadway, between 110th and 116th, on Saturday.

4) There will be phonebanking at several sites in the neighborhood, as well as at the Harlem Campaign Office and the SEIU/1199 office. You bring your cellphone and they'll supply calling lists. RSVP to this e-mail with your availability and we'll let you know where.
We'll talk about all these GOTV opportunities at our club meeting tomorrow at Bank Street at 8pm.

See you soon!Paula Diamond-Roman & Curtis Arluck, District LeadersPat Almonrode, PresidentElana Shneyer & Luis Roman, Co-chairs, Election Committee
