*In advance of Earth Day 2015, the BROADWAY DEMOCRATS *

*will host discussions of **two environmental issues*

*important to all New Yorkers:*



 *Oil on the Hudson: * Sean Dixon, Staff Attorney with Riverkeeper, will
discuss the implications of the shipment of Canadian Tar Sands oil down the
Hudson from Albany to refineries in New Jersey and Nova Scotia.

*AND*

*New York State—Beyond Coal*: Sierra Club volunteers will present plans for
a major effort to end New York’s reliance on this dirty and environmentally
destructive fuel, still burning at four operating coal-powered plants.



*Meeting starts at 8:00 PM*

*Bank Street College of Education*
