David Weiman, the Alena Wels Hirschorn ’58 Professor of Economics* at
Barnard College, is a long time Broadway Dems member and a lively speaker.
In fact, just this September he was awarded the *Jonathan Hughes Prize for

prestigious award conferred annually by the Economic History Association
