As you know from presentations at our forums, the Cathedral of Saint John
the Divine is intent on erecting two apartment buildings on the plot of
land to the north of the Cathedral itself, where until recently, a metal
building shed that had been dedicated to stone cutting many years ago,
stood.



As detailed in the articles below, the developer chose a firm with alleged
mob ties and an abysmal safety record for the demolition job.
