COUNTY COMMITTEE MEMBERS


SPECIAL MEETING
County Committee 
Thursday,  October 3 
5:45pm 

 Goddard-Riverside Community Center 
      595 Columbus Avenue (88th Street)      

If you agreed to serve on the County Committee
you are now a delegate to this meeting.       
 
Each County Committee delegate will be requested to sign in/check at the 
beginning of the meeting. Attendance is important since we must have 
quorum. The Broadway Democrats Divisional meeting begins at 5:45pm, immediately followed by the general meeting.

 
To vote at this County Committee convention you must be at the meeting in person.
There are no proxies.    
 
Each County Committee delegate will have a weighted vote based upon the 
number of Democrats that voted in their Election District in the last 
gubernatorial election.  In a few recently redistricted and reconfigured Election Districts, the weighted vote is based upon slightly different 
criteria. As in other meetings run according to Robert's Rules, if 
there is an overwhelming consensus for a single candidate the vote may 
be done by a simpler method such as voice vote or show of hands.
 
The candidates for civil court have been invited to give brief presentations at this meeting.
