I am reaching out to you because I think you may know a college student who would be a great candidate for the Congressional Collegiate Internship Program, and to let you know the application for the Spring 2014 program is now open.



Congressional Interns dedicate their time, talents, energy, and service to better the community and the nation. They are an integral part of the team and the assignments given to an intern on any given day could include conducting research, managing incoming inquiries, attending meetings, writing briefings/memos, and staffing events. They also participate in a series of events and small group meetings with the Member of Congress exploring different policy aspects of the Congress and the Congressional District through notable speakers, discussions, and service projects.

Complete an application by visiting http://rangel.house.gov/internshipform. The deadline to apply for the Spring 2014 program is February 5, 2014. The program is open only to College Students and recent College Graduates (Undergrad/Grad).
