BROADWAY DEMOCRATS CANDIDATE FOR MAYOR OF NEW YORK  CITY

ENDORSED BY THE SIERRA CLUB 


This is a press  conference/rally in recognition of John Liu's superior 
position on environmental  issues. John Liu absolutely opposes fracking in New 
York State. These not just  words; John Liu organized a shareholder proposal 
to force Exxon to release what  chemicals are mixed with water in fracking. 
 
He said NO to building  in our rivers. He said he opposes the gas pipelines 
to bring fracked gas into  our homes; although it is a federal issue, he 
would use the bully pulpit to  reject them. He said absolutely no building in 
or privatizing public  parks. 
John Liu’s priority is to make New York City cleaner  and healthier and to 
reduce our reliance on fossil fuels.
